Citizenship

A Scout is helpful and trustworthy, kind and cheerful,
considerate and clean, and wise in the use of all resources.

These words form the Scout Law and describes the personal characteristics of a good citizen and a standard that every Scout must strive to uphold. The belief that one must think of others before oneself is an attitude that has has been central to the ethic of community service that is a part of every Scouting organization.

When we make good citizens, we make stronger communities that resolve to respect, protect, and support each other so that we can move forward together and make a better world for those that come after us.
